After much consideration, the Addington Fund Trustees and management team have decided to postpone the 2020 Cornwall Farm Business Awards, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and risks to attendees. As shortlisting has already taken place, these will now become the 2021 awards and no categories will be reopened.

This decision was taken after consultation with our many sponsors and those involved with the Awards, who expressed concern that holding the event in 2020 could create a risk to all our guests due to possible exposure to the virus. The health and safety of all our guests is our upmost concern and we must take the lead from those who support us the most.

It was a difficult decision to take especially in view of the massive support we have received from our sponsors and supporters. We and our sponsors have put in a tremendous amount of energy into the event and cannot convey how saddened we are at taking this action, but equally feel that it is the correct action to take to keep our guests safe.

Our marketing and events manager, Annie Winn now has the major task to notify the awards short-listers, guests and suppliers, so please can you help us by spreading the word?
