Hereford Times Food and Farming Awards 2021

We are delighted to announce that we are this year’s chosen Charity of the Year for the virtual Hereford Times Food and Farming Awards 2021. After the success of their very first virtual awards last year, the Food and Farming awards will be taking place this year online on June 17, streamed via the Hereford Times Facebook page.

The awards are a celebration of our proud agricultural sector, and recognise the hard work done day in and day out by farmers, food producers and food retailers across Herefordshire and the Welsh Borders.

Below, is a list of the categories available to enter and nominations are open until 8th April 2021.

Cattle Farmer Award, Poultry Farmer Award, Arable/Fruit or Hop Farmer of the year, Family Run Farm or Small Holding, Farm Conservation & Diversification, Best Farm Shop, Best Local Food Retailer (exc. Farm Shops), Best Dairy Producer, Best Food Producer (exc. Dairy), Best Drinks Producer, Best Restaurant and Best Café or Tearoom.

Any donations received from the lead up of the event through to the awards finale will be given directly to us, in aid of supporting our vital work to help the farming community. A competition will be held leading up to the night of the awards, including throughout the awards evening, where you will be in with a chance of winning a delicious food hamper and a professional farming photoshoot! More details to follow in the near future.
