Could you be crowned Best Family Farm in Devon? The search is on as the Addington Fund Devon Farm Business Awards return for 2025

Farming charity, Addington Fund, is looking for the Best Family Farm in Devon having announced a new category in the annual Devon Farm Business Awards. Set to take place on 14th May, the night before the Devon County Show, the Awards celebrates the innovation, dedication, and success of Devon’s agricultural community across seven inspiring categories.

Sue English, Fund Director, said “As a charity we see how teamwork, succession planning and a joint approach help make a farming business resilient. Family farms are at the heart of British agriculture and this new category will celebrate their success.”

The winner of winners will take home the prestigious title of ‘Devon’s Farmer of the Year’. This year, long standing supporter PKF Francis Clark have taken on the sponsorship of this category and said, “PKF Francis Clark is proud to sponsor Devon’s Farmer of the Year award. We are committed to supporting the agricultural community in Devon and celebrating the remarkable achievements of our local farmers. Their dedication and innovation are vital to the sustainability and success of our rural economy in this beautiful region.”

The winners of each category, and Devon’s Farmer of the Year, are announced at a black-tie dinner on 14th May at Westpoint, Exeter. Proceeds from the even support national farming charity, Addington Fund, helping support farmers in times of crisis across England and Wales. The charity provides housing and disaster relief. Tickets are available via the website at £95, with discounts for full tables. All tickets include welcome drinks, canapes and a locally sourced two-course dinner with table drinks.
